Quick Tip To Learn:
- In all first, like 21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71 we put “et un” in between the numbers. Eg. Vingt et un , trente et un, and so on.
- The series of (un to neuf) follows from 21 to 69 with an hyphen (-) in between. Eg. vingt-deux, trente-trois, quarante-quatre, so on.
- From number 70 (soixante-dix) to 79 (soixante-dix-neuf) the series of 10 to19 follows with hyphen in between.
- Notice the number 80 (quatre-vingts), “vingts” has an added “S” at the end which is not there in the actual number 20 (vingt).
- The number 70 in French can be learned by (60+10=70) soixante-dix. The number 80 in French can be learned by (4*20=80) quatre-vingt, in other words combination of terms is being used.

Quick Tip To Learn:
- In numbers 81 and 91, the “et” is not used in between the number instead hyphen (-) is used.
- The series of un to neuf is followed in the number counts from 81to 89.
